How to Find Your Promotional Soul Mate

December 7, 2005

I believe that each of us have Promotional Soul Mates with whom we’re energetically connected ? and with whom we can be karmically correct, kick-ass promoters. Here are ways to find those lucky souls.

1. Drumming. When I feel the need for a new Joint Venture partner, I don’t surf the Web - I play my drum! I simply step outside my yurt, open my eyes to the heavens, invoke a little Spiritual assistance and drum to my heart’s content. The phone always rings immediately - and sometimes it’s not even The Difficult Neighbors asking me to keep it down.

2. Smudging. You can attract great promotional partners by lighting a bundle of indigenous sage, and let its smoke waft through your nostrils, your soul, and your immediate environment. Try smudging your seat at conferences ? you’ll get all kinds of people to notice you and even approach you!

3. Smoking the Indigenous Prairie Grass JV Pipe. Nothing beats the shared sense of community that comes with gathering your JV partners in a circle at the next conference, and passing around a ceremonial pipe filled with indigenous prairie grass. (Followers of my work know I ingest only products made from the pure grasses that can be found in the prairie grasslands of this great country.) Indigenous prairie grass makes you feel all tingly, and very, very clean! Now there’s a motivator to do business with you!

4. Rattles. Rattles are wonderful noise makers for attracting attention, and shaking up the trickster who lurks in our shadow side. I do my Invoking Successful JV’s Dance. I simply stop whatever I’m doing, hear the drums in my head, and start shaking my dried gourd rattle as I dance. I can feel the stirrings of the Trickster leaping in my soul! Then the Trickster usually tells me who to call directly - which I do. I’ve contacted amazing people this way, even LL Cool J and Martha Stewart (though none have actually arranged joint ventures with me to date.)
