Grimly Excited … Will I Meet Christopher Guest?

Well, friends, it’s been a while since I blogged mainly because I’ve been so damn busy helping resurrect the souls of several hundred cluster flies who got trapped in the yurt in the past few weeks. But no mind … I’m of to Los Angeles in a week or so — the first stop on my Humble Guru Tour.

I’ll be doing my Beyond Being Workshop at Cal State Long Beach for an adoring crowd of admirers, (perhaps you might be among them?), on October 28. And frankly, aside from my usual quest to attract members of the major media (see my tips below on just how to snag ‘em) I’m hoping filmmaker Christopher Guest will be joining me.

Guest knows my work of course, as do many ‘City of Angels’ luminaries, partly because he and I had a unique lobal connection, a remote one albeit. I actually channeled his energy one night immediately after seeing his film “Waiting for Guffman”. (This often happens after I see a particularly evocative film.) Eugene Levy also - we’ve time travelled together more than once.

Anyway, I’m looking for any short lead contact info anyone out there might have on how I can get to Guest to invite him to my workshop. Anyone have leads to share? I’m saving the best seat in the house just for you, Chris! Now off to run a Google New Search on him … anything to find that man. I feel we have important work to do together.
